How accurate is the chronology, and what happens if the AI gets something wrong?
Every entry is extracted verbatim from your records and cited to the exact page it came from. Click any citation to verify in seconds. The chronology is fully editable before export, so the output that leaves your desk is what your team has reviewed and signed off — line by line. Low-confidence entries are flagged for review rather than guessed at, and the fee-earner remains the author of the chronology that goes to counsel or experts.
What can GoPothos actually handle — record types, bundle sizes, multiple providers?
GP records, hospital notes, discharge summaries, nursing observations, radiology reports, lab results, consultant letters, and operative notes — across every provider involved in a case. Scanned PDFs, typed records, and handwritten notes are processed through OCR. Multi-thousand-page bundles run in the background so your team can work in parallel, and multi-provider records are interleaved into a single integrated timeline with each entry attributed to its source.
Is the chronology editable, and what does the export look like?
Every entry is editable — rewrite the language, add notes, remove what isn't relevant, restructure as needed. The export reflects your firm's standards: provide a template and we'll match it.
How is our client data protected, and is GoPothos UK GDPR compliant?
Yes. We're UK GDPR compliant and ICO registered (registration number ZC094141). Records are stored on AWS UK infrastructure (eu-west-2, London) and processed through Microsoft Azure in the UK South region for OCR and AI extraction. Both are named in our DPA subprocessor list. Data does not leave UK infrastructure at any point. Records are encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3. Your data is never used to train, fine-tune or improve any AI model. Records are deleted after the retention window agreed in the DPA.
